Cabinetworks Group is filling multiple Production Worker / General Laborer positions in our manufacturing plant in Independence, OR. Experience in industrial, production or manufacturing preferred, but not required. Finishing and touch-up highly desirable. Our day shift operating hours range from 6:00 am until 4:30 pm.

We are excited to offer a competitive starting pay of $14.50 an hour with an increase to $15.30 an hour after passing a 30-day probation period!! Get hired on quickly! Responsibilities of the Production Worker / General Laborer: 

  • Build cabinetry and components
  • Work with team members
  • Use all appropriate equipment (drill, nail gun, etc.)
  • Read production paperwork specifications
  • Maintain production and quality standards
  • Follow all safety rules and work instructions; Employer provides PPE
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner

Minimum Qualifications and Experience for the Production Worker / General Laborer: 

  • Ability to read a tape measure and use it effectively or willingness and ability to learn
  • Must have great teamwork and communication skills
  • Must have excellent work ethics
  • Production experience in wood working preferred
  • Knowledge of painting and shipping a plus 
  • Must be able and willing to work overtime as needed
  • Debe poder leer algo ingles

Physical Demands and Hazards of the Production Worker / General Laborer:

MEDIUM – Exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Ability to stand and move body (twisting, pushing, pulling).

NOISE – Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds.

EQUIPMENT USED – Includes air-powered tools (sanders, drills, nail & staple guns) and other power tools (portable sanders, saws, drills, etc.).
