Daily Ops Update – 3/26/2020

As I noted yesterday, we are diligently working daily with the Pennsylvania state officials to explore options that will allow our temporarily paused Thompsontown and Mt. Union facilities to reopen in a way that assures the health and safety of our employees. We are making progress and will keep you updated as we learn more.

Yesterday, the governors of Minnesota and Kentucky issued stay-at-home orders to limit social interactions. With the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) declaration that the wood products industry is an “essential critical infrastructure workforce” in the nation’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, we can keep our facilities in these states open. Should circumstances change, we will notify you as quickly as possible.

As operations continue across Cabinetworks, we are extremely focused on following the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for the health and safety of every employee working in our facilities. We will continue to make sure that our business practices are consistent with the most up-to-date information the Center for Disease Control and federal, state, and local governments.
